The NCC is committed to sustainable transportation in Canada’s Capital Region. Our transportation strategies are aimed at making the Capital a more liveable and attractive place that is less reliant on cars. Our strategies address the interprovincial transportation issues involved in connecting Ottawa and Gatineau, as well as how to minimize the effect of traffic on Gatineau Park’s natural resources. They also look at making the Capital more cycling-friendly to promote commuting by bike.
