How can Canada become better prepared to understand the present and the future of its Arctic biodiversity?
This science symposium will take stock of the state of biodiversity science in the Arctic to kick of Canada's sesquicentennial anniversary.

Canada's Arctic Biodiversity: The Next 150 Years is organized by the Centre for Arctic Knowledge and Exploration at the Canadian Museum of Nature. The symposium heralds a year of dialogue about the Arctic at the museum in celebration of the opening of a new Arctic gallery in 2017.

- A full day of presentations and panel discussions
- Posters and displays
- Optional pre- and post-symposium activities.

Lunch and refreshments during breaks will be provided.

Present Your Work
Posters
Symposium—All participants in the symposium are invited to present a poster on their work related to the biodiversity of Canada's Arctic.
Public Event—Poster presenters are invited to share their posters with the general public on the evening of Thursday, January 26, 2017.
Poster Requirements
Provide the following information by January 10, 2017:
- poster title
- author(s)
- author affiliations
- a short abstract (140 words maximum).
We will provide the materials to affix your poster to the poster board.
Further information to come about poster dimensions.
Displays
Organizations are invited to have a display or booth at the symposium.
