Accessible Entrances

On foot, using a wheelchair, with a stroller or via public transit use the entrance on Elgin street.

By car

If you have mobility issues, we strongly encourage you to come to the NAC by car. You can enter the garage via Elgin/Slater and reserved accessible parking is available at the P3 level on a first-come-first-served basis.

Drop-off

If you are getting dropped-off at the NAC, the passenger drop-off zone is located at level 3 of the parking garage.

Drivers should enter the parking garage using the Albert Street entrance and follow the signs to the drop-off zone.

After dropping-off the passenger, drivers should continue towards the Queen Elizabeth exit and present the parking ticket to the cashier. There is no charge for dropping-off passengers.

Pick-up

If you are getting picked-up, the passenger pick-up zone is located at level 1 of the parking garage.

Drivers should enter the parking garage using the Elgin/Slater Street entrance and follow the signs to the pick-up zone.

After picking-up the passenger, drivers should continue down to level 3 of the parking garage following the exit signs and present the parking ticket to the cashier. There is no charge for picking-up passengers.

Taxis

If arriving at the NAC by taxi, from Monday to Friday between 8am to 4pm, we recommend that you instruct your taxi to drop-off at the lay-by on Elgin Street.

During evenings and weekends, it's possible to drop-off at Level 3 of the parking garage.

Accessible seating

Special tickets are available for patrons in wheelchairs, as well as for the visually impaired. For availability, please contact the NAC Box Office at 1-844-985-2787 (ARTS). Seating for patrons in wheelchairs may also by purchased online.

Should you require special assistance from the ushers on the night of the show, please advise House Management at (613) 947-7000, ext. 222.

Hearing devices

The NAC has a Phonic Ear Wireless FM Sound System for patrons with impaired hearing. FM (Frequency Modulation) receivers and several accessories such as a headset for use without a hearing aid, a teleloop and a Cochlea Implant Patch Cord are available, free of charge from the Communication Centre, located near the Theatre Checkroom. Patrons are required to leave a piece of identification.
