On December 20, 2013, the Farm Products Council of Canada received from the Association des producteurs de fraises et framboises du Québec a proposal to establish a Canadian Strawberry Promotion and Research Agency to be funded by levies. The FPCC Chair, Laurent Pellerin, has appointed Tim O’Connor and Mike Pickard as Panel members.
